About Us

Locke Hill Feed was established in 1980 by Bill Estes and is now run by Bill and his wife Kate.  Locke Hill is San Antonio’s most unique store that will bring back memories of the small town feed store.  Bill, Kate and a friendly crew is ready to provide you with top notch customer service and product knowledge.  Be sure to say Hello to “Bear” (a West Highland Terrier) who is Locke Hill’s official greeter.

San Antonio grew up around Locke Hill Feed and is now in the heart of San Antonio’s Medical Center.  Locke Hill still has traditional feed store provisions, but today they are better known for their great selection of the best brands of dog, cat, and bird feeds.  In fact, whatever animal you have, Locke Hill has everything you would need and all at great prices.

Locke Hill features a wide selection of lawn care products that are safe for your family and pets.  Whether you need advice on flea control or weed control, Locke Hill has the products you need.  Locke Hill carries a wide variety of natural and organic products along with pesticides and fertilizers.  You can hear Bill on WOAI Radio every Saturday morning on “The Garden Show” with gardening experts Bill Rohde and David Rodriguez.

If your son or daughter is raising an animal for FFA or 4-H, they are surely familiar with Locke Hill Feed.  Locke Hill has been a long time supporter of the NISD Walter Gerlach Livestock Auction, the Bexar County Junior Livestock Auction, and the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.

Our mission is to serve the human and animal population with products that are healthy and fun.  Our priority is to make every customer (2 legged or 4 legged) smile with our up to date product knowledge, old time customer service and down home friendly environment.
